Bryan Hulbert – GREENWOOD, Neb. (September 2, 2020) Taking in a pair of nights with the World of Outlaws NOS Energy Drink Sprint Car Series over the weekend, Sam Hafertepe, Jr. continued to test and tune his Heidbreder Foundation/Hills Racing No. 15h.

Ending his night 21st at U.S. 36 Raceway on Friday, Hafertepe had come improvement the following night at I-80 Speedway with a 17th place run.

"When we roll into these 410 shows, we're working on getting something that works, and right now, that's what we're focused on," stated Sam.

Elaborating on his point, Hafertepe said, "It's not that we're not going into the shows with the mindset to not winning. That's the whole point of racing, and that's what we're working on. Right now, when we show up at a 410 show, we're not contending for points, so that gives us the opportunity to try things, and I feel like the results may not be coming immediately, but trying and working on it now, those results will come, and we'll be there when we do buckle down and start racing for points."

Dropping the 360 back in the car this weekend, Hafertepe will be at Lake Ozark Speedway in Eldon, Mo. for the Lake Ozark, 360 Nationals with the Racinboys.com ASCS Warrior Region presented by Impact Signs, Awnings, and Wraps on Saturday, September 5 and Sunday, September 6.

"I enjoy racing there. It's a fun track, and it's always great getting to race with Ashley and Ryan Heidbreder. They've supported me for a long time and are great friends, so any chance we get to go race with them, we take it."
